About the Department

The Department of Civil Engineering at Vivekananda Polytechnic College was established with the objective of producing skilled diploma engineers capable of contributing to infrastructure development and nation building. The department focuses on imparting strong fundamental knowledge combined with extensive practical training through laboratories, field work, site exposure, and model-based learning. Special emphasis is given to creativity, technical competence, and professional ethics, enabling students to meet the demands of the construction industry.
