About the Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) is dedicated to providing quality technical education in refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems. The programme equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required for installation, operation, maintenance and servicing of cooling and ventilation systems used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. The department emphasizes hands-on learning through modern laboratories, workshops, industrial visits and project-based training.
